...we went further into the mountains, knowing that our resources won't last for long and that we would cross the point of no return at some part of our journey. But what the hell - our landing pod wasn't exactly suited for comfy living (at least not for more than a few days) and the only radio transmitter we had was pretty much useless, since none of us was a mechanic capable enough to reconstruct a pile of scrap metal counting several tens of pieces. This moon wasn't abandoned but the settlements were pretty wide spread, so the odds were quite low but not impossible. Nevertheless, after a few days of toiling through heaps of snow and rocks one couldn't help but to go nuts once every moment. I remember Scott asking us about what are we exactly looking for. Roy replied without hesitation "For snow, lad!" ...then we heard the howling...

Well, this piece was more about practicing painting skills than about anything else. I started to work on it about 5 months ago and have been returning to it every once in a while. It isn't perfect, but thanks to guys over at Luminarium (in particular =Akajork, =Phoenix-06, ^Voyager212, *ChrisCold etc.) I was able to pull out image that's at least watchable.
