It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Design Contest WIN 4000 POINTS, 20$ AND MORE!I've wanted to hold a design contest for a long time now, and finally I've gathered enough points to do it :D

What I'm looking for:
Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil
-Anything tribal
-Native american stuff
-Feathers!
-Tawny, golden, brown, white, red, blue, cyan, gray, black (well, not all combined)
-I like more natural base colors, but with smaller markings in unnatural colors like blue or red
-Long tails, big/long
Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you  finally  made  the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq  to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean  more quality to the paintings, am i right?. 
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only  to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

...that's the title of my current music band and yes, our music is as 'WTF' as is the title :D .
Anyway, we've recorded a demo album during this summer and 8 of its tracks are available to listen to on last.fm (6 are featured on the main page, the rest is on the album page). Recording consumed about 4-5 afternoons and mixing took another two days and it went quite well. However, the album still needs some mastering (voices sound a bit off on some sound systems - it's fine in headphones, hi-fi systems but it's a bit awkward when you try to listen to it via PC speakers (like the shitty ones I've got).
So, aside from teaching English, studying English, doing commissions, painting wallpapers and being an occassional ass, I have another project to attend to. With this in mind I apologize for not replying to that sh*tload of comments I recieved last week. I'm too busy to do it right away, but I'll get to it... ...eventually.
Oh yeah - I play a bassguitar, but you already knew...

Sweet, gonna listen to the rest when I get a chance but I sampled, and will have to check it fully, later. Jeeze, is there anything you don't do? Well, actually.... I think me and you have a lot of the same hobby's..... or, nope, nevermind, we share the occasionally being an ass thing, and playing music, hahahahah. Either way, kudo's for doing what you do.

Sounds nice! :O
Even on my fairly decent speakers ( [link] ) the vocals sound a little off - was it your intention for the vocals to sounds quite 'loose' from the track? That is, they don't sit very well and they're quite quiet and lacking warmth. :shrug:

Yeah, some parts are wee bit too quiet - we didn't want vocals to stand out too much but in the end it sounds like this - the main reason why it's going to be adjusted further more in the near future (I personally think that the lead guitar should stand out a bit more at some passages as well).
